 INTRODUCTION

DBMS- A database management system(DBMS) is a collection of interrelated data and a set of programs to access those data. The principal goal of a DBMS is to provide a way to store and retrieve database information that is both convenient and efficient.

Database System Applications-
-Banking
-Airlines
-Universities
-Credit Card Transactions
-Telecommunications
-Finance
-Sales
-Manufacturing
-Human Resources

Database System versus File Systems- Typical file processing system is supported by a conventional operating system. The system stores permanent records in various files and it needs different applications programs to extract records from and add records to the appropriate files.
Keeping organizational information in a file processing system has a number of major disadvantages:
-Data redundancy and inconsistency
-Difficulty in accessing data
-Data isolation
-Integrity problems
-Atomicity problems
-Concurrent access anomalies
-Security problems

View of Data- A major purpose of a database system is to provide users with an abstract view of the data. That is, the system hides certain details of how the data are stored and maintained.

BEING GENIUS

Some people are born genius while some acquire the superability and the rest all are too busy to even think about such damn stuffs.Infact there is an forth category also which comprises guys who are born mediocre but they speculate of  becoming genius in their respective fields and inspite of their every sincere and honest efforts they remain where they are.You can call it the law of nature (similar to the case of food chain in which the uppermost level is of top predators and their population is quite low and controlled by nature) or law of mediocrity. Infact you can find a lot of similarities between the concept of food chain and the population of genius, above average and mediocre people.Nevertheless, whatever it may be because we are living in the era where its not the genius people who holds monopoly over power but the corrupt ones.
The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.

BOREDOM

It's around 3:00 AM and after struggling hard for the internet connectivity, finally got succees. Nothing to do, as always, except wasting time on this so called revolutionary "internet". Many a times, i think, for whom its an revolution??  For me its just an mean of wasting both time as well as energy. Infact the whole life, nowadays seems to be quite annoying, irritating and boring. Its all due to the uniformity of daily life tasks and schedule.Actually i am in search of some interesting stuffs. Blogging is one such  measure. The thing that i like the most about blogging is you essentially require to puzzle up and mess with a lot of words.Thats what writing skills are.The one who is more comfortable with words possess greater writing skills than the contemporary one.
